The Basic Rules

Today is March 14, 2013 and we will be talking about the basic rules of the library. Now some of you might know some of these rules, but a good reminder is always helpful...

Rule #1: It is very important to keep the library clean and organized. Trash must be thrown away! Furthermore, we have recycling bins here to keep the environment in good shape. The blue bin is for paper only, while the green bin is just for bottles. Remember to throw away the lid of the bottle before recycling it! Also, make sure you log off of your profile page before leaving the computers.

Rule #2: Silence is golden! It is okay to socialize in library, but keep in mind that others might be working on something very important and they need their full concentration.

Rule #3: If you pull out a book and do not know where it goes, please just put it aside or on top of the book shelf. The librarians will know where to put the book and it makes it easier for others to find that certain book.

Rule #4: Always turn books in on time! If you turn it in late you will get a late fee. The more you keep the over due book, the more the cost goes up; moreover, when you check out a book, you will be given a receipt to tell you when the book was checked out and when you should return it.

These are the basic and common rules of the library!
